El estadio de Ferrocarril Oeste se vistió de negro para recibir a My Chemical Romance. Un público muy joven, adolescentes en su mayoría,   hicieron caso a la letra de uno de los hits de la banda, "Teenagers", y "oscurecieron sus ropas". Sin embargo, para seguir con esa letra, no había ninguna "pose violenta" entre los presentes, que disfrutaron del show, entre gritos, saltos y el clásico movimiento de cabeza rockero.

La banda liderada por Gerard Way ofreció casi dos horas de rock potente.

Decididamente, el cantante de My Chemical Romance sabe cómo entretener a su público. Way demostró un gran histrionismo y se divirtió repitiendo una y otra vez las palabras aprendidas en castellano. Ya en la primera canción que tocaron, "This is How I Dissappear", el líder de la banda pidió: "¡Manos!". El público respondió con sus manos en alto y siguió haciéndolo las otras infinitas veces que Way volvió a pedirlo.

Sin pausa, excepto por los momentos en que Way se dirigía al público, se sucedieron los temas pertenecientes a los tres discos que la banda editó en sus seis años de existencia. Pasaron desde "Dead!"; "I m Not Ok"; "Cementery Drive"; "My Way Home"; "Mama"; "House of Wolves"; "I Don´t Love You"; "The Sharpest Lives"; "Headfirst for Halos"; "Kill All Your Friends"; "Give ´Em Hell, Kid"; hasta "You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us in Prison".

Los momentos de mayor euforia llegaron de la mano de los dos grandes hits de la banda. Ya con los primeros acordes de "Welcome to the Black Parade", el público enloqueció y festejó una muy buena interpretación de este tema. El otro gran momento fue cuando Way entonó el provocativo himno adolescente "Teenagers". Después de "Famous Last Words", el show tuvo un falso final, en nota deprimente, con "Cancer" y la banda volvió luego para hacer "Desert Song" y "Helena". Con un simple "gracias, Argentina", Way concluyó el recital y su público salió tranquilamente del estadio.

My Chemical Romance se presentará el 22 de febrero en la ciudad de Buenos Aires en el estadio Ferro Carril Oeste. Llegará a la Argentina para presentar el material de su último disco, The Black Parade, editado en octubre de 2006.

La venta de entradas fue a partir del 7 de enero hasta ahora.
